Top 1000 Performing Companies in Asia Pacific
Dun & Bradstreet Singapore has launched the inaugural ranking publication “D&B Top 1000 Performing Companies in
Asia Pacific”. It is an independent & objective ranking, which aims to
recognize companies that have achieved the highest return. Companies are
ranked according to the Return on Equity.
It is one of the most important
profitability metrics, which also highlights the overall efficiency of the
management in utilizing the fund invested by the investors/ shareholders.
1,000 companies were chosen and ranked from 14,000
listed and 430,000 unlisted companies registered in Australia, China, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Japan, Malaysia,
Philippines, New Zealand, Singapore, South Korea, Taiwan, Thailand.
Included
in this publication are the ranking of Asia Pacific Top 1000 companies;
profiles of the Local Top 50 companies; and Payment Trend Analysis in the
Asia Pacific region with a further breakdown by industry and country. These
help globalizing companies check their readiness for overseas expansion and
benchmark against the top performers in the 12 overseas markets surveyed.
These top performers are the ones to be benchmarked
against in their respective countries and industries by managers and
shareholders across the Asia Pacific. Similarly, investors looking at
setting up and expanding their businesses in the region could get an
overview of the strength of these Asia Pacific companies through the
rankings.
Taken together, the findings of the D&B Top 1000
point to an evolving role for managers to pay attention to achieving higher
average ROE, net profits and sales. They can take a look at the business
